John R. Sapp, 46, Tempe, Ariz., formerly of Kansas City, died Nov. 17, 1991, at a hospital in Phoenix. He was born in Everest, Kansas, and lived in Kansas City for 20 years before moving to Tulsa, Okla., in 1974. He moved to Tempe in 1982. Mr. Sapp worked for Electronic Data Systems for 10 years, most recently as a systems engineer supervisor of the Ramada Reservation Systems project. He owned Arizona Video & Photography in Tempe and formerly owned Adventures in Motoring in Tulsa. He had been a systems analyst for American Airlines in Tulsa and a computer analyst for the Kansas City Aviation Center Inc. He served in the Air Force. He was a Junior Achievement adviser in Tulsa and Phoenix. He was a member of the Classic T-Bird and Mustang clubs in Tulsa. Survivors include his wife, Janie Sapp; two daughters, Laurie McNair, Pittsburgh, and Lisa Gumowskyj, Mesa, Ariz.; his parents, Richard H. and Anne K. Sapp, and a brother, James D. Sapp, all of Kansas City; and a sister, Beverly Appleberry, Gilbert, Ariz. Services Sunday, Nov. 24, 1991, at the Lakeshore Chapel, Mesa, Ariz. Friends may call Saturday at the chapel.
