Services for Joseph S. Kocsis, 75, a former Kenmore, New York, resident, were held last week in Mesa, Ariz. Kocsis died Dec. 16, 1991, in Valley Lutheran Hospital, Mesa, after a long illness. Born in Massena, NY, Kocsis moved to Western New York in 1945 to work for Bell Aircraft Corp. in Wheatfield as an inspector. He retired in 1977 and moved to Arizona in 1984. He was a past master of DeMolay Lodge, F & AM, and a member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America. An Army veteran of World War II, he also was a member of Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include a son, Joseph of Poughkeepsie; three daughters, Gay Bolender, Fair Dierken and Shirley Mahoney, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Elizabeth Young of Syracuse, and 13 grandchildren.
