Lydia Ann (Jenkins) Densley

We ask family and friends to join us in rejoicing. After years of endurance, Lydia Ann Jenkins Densley, is free to run in the meadows.

She passed away January 20, 1992 in Phoenix, Arizona. Lydia was born March 6, 1924, in Roosevelt, Utah to Samuel Archie and Tina Lucretia McCurdy Jenkins. Married Richard Densley in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 24, 1941. They recently celebrated 50 years together. She was an active member of the LDS Church, and a devoted Primary teacher. Member of the Union Lady Lions Auxiliary.

Survived by her husband; daughters, Karen Bentley and husband, Mike, Omaha, Nebraska; Dorothy Prince and husband, Mervin, New Harmony, Utah; Lori Packard and husband, Ric, Vancouver, Wash.; LaNita Brinkerhoff and husband, Guy, Fillmore; Colleen Jacobson and husband, Paul, Salt Lake City; Pat Martin and husband, Pete, Middleton, Rhode Island; 27 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Dora Freston and Ada Curtis; brothers, Dee and Edward Jenkins; many loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews; and the many children she taught and cared for. She truly loved you all. Preceded in death by parents; son, Rick; several grandsons; sisters, Lola Kilpack; Laura, Cora, Bessie, Christine; and a brother, Lee Jenkins.

Funeral Services Friday, January 24, 1992, Welby 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 7875 South 4000 West, Salt Lake City, UT. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Thursday and at the church Friday. Burial, Larkin Sunset Gardens. In lieu of flowers, she requested donations to the Primary Childrens Medical Center.
