Max Marshall Sr., age 48, of Phoenix, AZ passed away December 23, 2002. Max Marshall was born October 14, 1954 to Maxine Wren and O.C. Marshall in Austin, Texas.

Max was the fifth of six children. His parents moved to Phoenix in the early sixties. He met and married Linda L. Smith, July 1973. To this union were born Max Jr., Juanita Ray, Adrianne Michelle, and Monica Renee. However, Max was surrogate father to many. His family expanded to include his granddaughter Kartia Chauntel Nash in 1994.

Max was preceded in death by his father, O.C. Sr., his mother Maxine and brothers Uriah and O.C. Jr.

Max leaves behind to celebrate his life, wife Linda, their four children, grandchild; brothers Albert, Johnny Ray, sister Gloria and a host of family and close friends.

Max lived a full life, fullfilled his dreams feeling no regret. Each day forward was a blessing. He filled many lives during his years with joy, laughter and simple wisdom. Max dedicated his life to his heavenly father Jehovah in 1987 and remained faithful until his death. He will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, generosity, humor and love that he had for others.

More importantly, he will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. We look forward to the day we say,'Good Morning' to you again Max.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2003, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 4, 2003 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Carr Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Rd, Tempe, Az., 85282.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2003 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnessses, 811 E. Desert Ln, Phoenix, Az., 85042.
