West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona February 6, 2007 Harold Gene Moody, 68, of Goodyear died Feb. 4, 2007. Mr. Moody was born Nov. 13, 1938, in Caruthersville, Mo., to Dorris and Claris Moody. He grew up around Kansas City, Mo., and served in the Marine Corps. Mr. Moody became a high priest and prophet of William F. Kuhn Chapter No. 139 Royal Arch Masons in 1976. The following year, he became Worshipful Master of Swope Park Lodge No. 617. He was chairman of the advisery board for William F. Kuhn Chapter Order of DeMolay from 1972 to 1979, and was also a member of the Ararat Shrine Temple in Kansas City, Mo. Mr. Moody was a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 101 for many years, and was head administrator for the training program. In 1979, he became a district service representative for FMC Linkbelt in Bannockburn, Ill. In 2001, he retired from JLG Industries Inc., where he was a regional manager. Mr. Moody is survived by his wife, Twila; two daughters, Gayla Sutton of Gilbert and Haley Ubaldo of Blue Springs, Mo.; two sons, Pete of Eldon, Mo., and Craig Allison of Phoenix; one brother, Lt. Col. Rex Moody of Tupelo, Miss.; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, also at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, which made the arrangements. |
