Arizona State Miner (Wickenburg) Saturday, May 2, 1925, p 8 c 2 Mrs. Loren Vaughn, wife of Loren Vaughn, chairman of the Arizona Corporation Commission, died shortly before noon Saturday, April 25th, [1925] at St Joseph's hospital as the result of peritonitis from which she had been a sufferer for about three weeks. Mrs. Vaughn's life was despaired of since she first became ill and about a week ago she was removed to the hospital, where an operation was performed in an effort to drain the abcess, but without success, as the infection had become general and could not be checked. |
