Arizona State Miner (Wickenburg) Saturday, May 9, 1925, p 1 c 3 Roy E. Bledsoe, 32 years old, son of S T Bledsoe, general counsel for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, and brother of V T Bledsoe of this city, shot and killed himself at 3:30am yesterday at his home, 535 West Lynwood street. There were no witnesses to the shooting, although Bledsoe's wife and her sister were in an adjoining room at the time the shot was fired. Despondency over ill health is believed to have been responsible for Mr Bledsoe's act. He had been wounded during the World War and never fully recovered. |
