The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, January 3, 2003 F. Edward (Ed) Lof, 82, of Phoenix, died December 30, 2002. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 8, 1920, he moved to Arizona 43 years ago from his home state. Ed was a 1943 graduate from the University of Nebraska; member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity; a WWII U.S. Army Captain; he had been an Estimator with Henry Beck Co. from 1960-1977 and M.M. Sundt from 1977-1985 and was a member of Christ Church of the Ascension. Survivors include his daughter, Katherine Bush, Phoenix; son, Laurence E. Lof (wife, Lynne), Tucson; three grandchildren, John S. Bush, Jennifer K. Bush and Gretchen A. Lof. His parents, Frank E. and Edna Tuvason Lof, wife, Katherine E. (Kay), infant daughter, Julie Anne and his sister, Eleanor Hunt all preceded him in death. Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Christ Church of the Ascension, 4015 E. Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley, Az. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, Az., 85014. Messinger Indian School Mortuary assisted with arrangements. |
