The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, January 3, 2003 Germaine F. Steudler, 51, of Gold Canyon, Arizona died on December 23, 2002. She was a resident of Arizona since 1982. Germaine worked for The Orthopedic Clinic (TOCA) offices in Phoenix Arizona as their certified Clinical Coding Specialist since 1997. She had over 20 years of medical experience in hospitals and private practice. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Indiana Hospital School of Nursing in 1981, and held a B.S. in Business from ASU. She was a Certified Instructor for the American Academy of Professional Coding (AAPC) for the state of Arizona, and a member of the Phoenix AAPC Chapter. In the past five years she has taught over 200 students in the AAPC Professional Coding Curriculum in the Phoenix area. She also was a certified instructor for Nursing and Real Estate at the Arizona Community Colleges. Germaine was a co-founder of the Community Alliance Against Family Abuse (C.A.A.F.A.) and served on the Restorative Justice Board in Apache Junction, Arizona. She is survived in loving memory by her son, William Steudler of Corpus Christi, Texas; her daughter, Amanda Steudler and grandson Kolby Steudler of Phoenix, Arizona; her father, Charles Sloan and sisters, Pauline Trick and Barbara Sloan of Houston, Texas, and close friend, Bill Wittmann of Phoenix, Arizona. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2003 at the Apache Junction Mortuary, 398 Old West Highway, Apache Junction 85219. Donations can be made in her memory to the Germaine F.
