Ronald R. Rhodes, 87, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away December 21, 2002.

Mr. Rhodes is a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran; served in World War II.

Services will be held in late January.

Contributions may be made to the Arizona State Veteran's Home, 4141 N. 3rd St., Phoenix, Az., 85012.

Arrangements entrusted to the Tempe Mortuary.

Ronald R. (Dusty) Rhodes, 87, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away December 21, 2002 in Phoenix. Mr. Rhodes was born February 1, 1915 in Peoria, Illinois.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II and was a China-Burma-India member. After WW II, Dusty continued serving in the Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant with over 25 years of service.

After moving to Arizona in the early 1960's, Dusty worked as a firefighter until his retirement.

Survivors include three sons, Ross, David & Dale Rhodes; a daughter, Suzanne Brookes; step-children, Donald Schumacher and Diane Grimm; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Dusty will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Monday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m. at E. Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4301 E. Southern Ave, Phoenix, Az.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arizona State Veteran's Home, 4141 N. 3rd St., Phoenix, Az., 85012.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
