Charles was preceded in death by his wife, June Faye Benedict; his daughter, Diane Parisot; one son, Charles Glenn Benedict, who died in infancy; and, by his parents, John and Geneva Grey Benedict.

Surviving Charles are his daughters, Beverly Lofgreen of Price, Utah, Debra Palmer of Gilbert, Janet Benedict of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Jeannie Derrick of Tucson; 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation and funeral service were held Tuesday morning, Nov. 24, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Manuel.

Interment followed the services at Valley View Cemetery in Mammoth.
