The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, November 25, 2009 Velma Jean Bennett, 78, of Humboldt, Ariz., born Aug. 6, 1931, in Sacramento, Calif., passed away Nov. 21, 2009. Private cremation will take place at Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Crematory. A Celebration of Live funeral mass will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at St. Germaine's Catholic Church, Prescott Valley, Ariz. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with final arrangements. ______________ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, December 05, 2009 Velma Jean Bennett died Nov. 21, 2009. She was born Aug. 6, 1931, in Sacramento, Calif. She was 78. Velma was a parishioner of St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz., and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, finding deals at yard sales, traveling and playing cards. Velma is survived by her husband of 56 years, Leo Bennett; son Douglas (Patricia) Bennett of Phoenix; and sister Ramona Rudolph. Survivors also include her 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sons, two daughters, three brothers and one sister. A celebration of Velma's life and funeral mass will be 2 p.m. Dec. 11, 2009, at St. Germaine's Catholic Church, Prescott Valley, Ariz. The Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
