| Eugene Delbert Tenney, 60, passed away December 29, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born March 27, 1932 in Prescott, Arizona to William Delbert and Annie Wilkins Tenney. Married Norda Smith, November 18, 1959 in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. Graduate of BYU. Served a LDS Mission to the Uruguay and Paraguay Mission. Member Utah National Guard linguist group. Former bishop of the Sandy 11th Ward. Former stake president of the Utah Sandy North Stake. Served as Patriarch of the Sandy North and Alta View Stakes. He was also active in the Boy Scouts of America. Survived by his eternal companion, Norda; children; daughter, LuAnn (Daniel) Scovill; son, Michael Eugene Tenney, both of Sandy; father, W. Delbert Tenney, Mesa, Arizona ; one brother and two sisters, Cherryll Nielson, Phoenix , Arizona ; Gale W. Tenney, San Diego, Calif.; and JoAnne Boyd, Daytona Beach, Florida; also survived by numerous "favorite" nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 1993, Sandy-Alta View Stake Center, 1850 East 8600 So. Friends may call Mt. View Memorial Estates Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 So. Interment Mt.
