| Pierre J. Allain, 93, of 17822 North Third Place, Phoenix , Ariz., formerly of 77 Nichols St., Gardner, Massachusetts, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1992, in Life Care Center Nursing Home, Paradise Valley, Ariz., after an illness. His wife, Emelda B. (Babineau) Allain, died in 1986. He leaves a daughter, Cecile Allain of Phoenix, with whom he lived; five grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was born in New Brunswick, Canada, son of Placide and Marie (Bourque) Allain, and lived in Massachusetts most of his life before moving to Arizona in 1975. Mr. Allain was a self-employed carpenter for many years before he retired. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its League of the Sacred Heart Society. The funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 31, 1992, from Dufault-Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols St., Worcester, MA, with a Mass in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
