| Gladys L. Boyd, 76 years, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Akron, Ohio, died December 19, 1992. Mrs. Boyd lived in Akron for many years before moving to Arizona, and had previously been employed by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Little Forest Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; and is survived by her daughter, Katie (Ken) Nichols of Arizona; sons, John (Elsie) Boyd, Otto (Audrey) Boyd, all of Akron; grandchildren, John, Joseph, Carmella, Cathie Cindy, Christine, Michelle, Milisa, Theresa, Rhonda and Tonya; and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Inez Powers of San Diego, Calif.; brothers, James C. (Jennie) Whited, and Thomas (Edith) Whited, all of Akron, O. Calling hours Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1992, at the Dunn-Quigley-Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 811 Grant St., where service will be held Thursday, Rev. Michael Simonella officiating.
