A memorial service for Clare E. Anderson of Green Valley, Ariz., will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 1992, in Parkrose Deliverance Tabernacle. Mr. Anderson died of a stroke Nov. 30 in a Phoenix, Ariz., care center. He was 81. He was born March 23, 1911, in Yakima, Washington, where he grew up. He spent most of his life, however, in Oregon. He worked as a truck driver in Tigard, Zig Zag, Seaside, Portland and Warrenton and as a tour bus driver in Portland before retiring and moving to Arizona in 1978. He was a member of Masonic Gateway Lodge 175 in Warrenton and of Eastern Star in Kearney, Ariz. He also was a member of East Mesa Baptist Church in Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Catherine B.; sons, Ray of Seattle, Wayne of Portland, Gary of Sandy, Michael of Gresham and Ron of Portland; daughter, Judy Jensen of Portland; sister, Kay McGoldrich of Santa Rosa, Calif.; brother, Art Anderson of Paradise, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
