The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona November 27, 2009 The Lambson family is saddened to announce the passing of their dear wife and mother, Maxine Neal Lambson, Nov. 21, 2009. She was born May 11, 1926, in St. Johns to Jacob and Madeline Neal. Maxine spent her life in service to God and her family, which included church missions with her husband, Delbert to Virginia, West Virginia and the Philippines. Her peaceful demeanor, perfect love for her family and delicious home-cooked meals will be greatly missed. Maxine is survived by her husband of 67 years, Delbert; four sons, Delbert Allen (Dawn), Neal (Claire), Marshall (Sally) and Curtis (Sonia); and 34 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Wanda and three sons, Carroll, William and Jacob. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Downtown Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. Johns. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of St. Johns handled arrangements.
