Frances N. (Lewis) Crossman

Frances N. Crossman, 72, of Overgaard died Nov. 17, 2009, in Phoenix. Frances was born May 21, 1937, to George and Dorothy Lee Lewis in Mesa.

She graduated from Phoenix Union High School and attended Northern Arizona University. She married Owen P. Crossman in 1966, and they had one daughter, Sandra. Frances worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They lived in Mesa for 18 years and in Overgaard for the past five years.

Frances is survived by her husband, Owen; daughter Sandra Mullins; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She also leaves behind her brother, George Lewis, and sister Margie Brangle, both of Phoenix.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Lewis, and son-in-law Michael Mullins.

A viewing was held Saturday, Nov. 21, followed by funeral service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Heber. She was laid to rest in the Heber Cemetery.
