The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 5, 2003 Richard (Dick) Lewis Lemon, age 72, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away December 31, 2002. Dick is survived by his wife, Elinor, their three sons and their families, Keith (Penny), Scot (Kasey) and John, four grandchildren, Tanya, Andy, Caryn, and Bryan, and a great-grandchild, Kylie Marie. Dick leaves behind three brothers, and three sisters, and their families, Bob (Norma), Ron (Myrtle), Kay (LeRoy), Ted (Phyllis), Colleen, Tami (Jon), along with many nieces and nephews. Dick was a long time valley resident and owned a Western Auto Store in Glendale and Peoria. In more recent years, Dick worked for the Paradise Valley School District. Dick enjoyed church activities, gardening, and woodworking. Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2003 at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Donations in his name can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church at 3104 W. Glendale, Phoenix, Az., 85051. |
