Bruce Alexander Ward, 59, of Camp Verde, Ariz., died Jan. 17, 2008. He was born June 2, 1948, in Detroit, Mich., to John L. and Eleanor E. (Marcelain) Ward.

Bruce was a retired Master Sergeant of 29 years in the Air National Guard. He was a member of the 191st Maintenance Squadron based out of Self-Ridge, Mich.

Bruce spent his last days working for Perez Welding of Camp Verde, Ariz.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kelly Ward of Camp Verde; his brother David O. Ward of Sterling Heights, Mich.; his sister, Edith Richmond of Clinton Township, Mich.; his sons, David Ward of Mesa, Ariz. and Christopher Ward of Camp Verde, Ariz.; his daughters, Joanna Buckley (Chris) of Paul-den, Ariz., and Melissa Chapman (Jack) of Camp Verde, Ariz.

A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at the chapel of Bueler Funeral Home, 143 Arnold Street, Camp Verde.
