The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 5, 2003 Doris Sanders, 75, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2002. She was born on March 25, 1927 in Carnegie, Ok. to Lonny and Emily Ambler. A gentle soul who brought out the best in everyone, braved many ailments since she was a young woman. Her life exemplified courage, patience, generosity, love, and faith. She was married to E.A, Sanders, a WWII vet and Seismographer, from Norman, Okla. The couple adopted a son, Marcus, in 1960, and soon relocated to Billings, Montana. Doris worked at the MSU Bookstore as a manager in Billings. She retired in 1986 and moved to Az. She was a loving mother to Marcus and wife Silvia. She gave all her love to her four grandchildren, Sebastian, Gabriel, Adrian and Julian, who she forever influenced. She has a loving brother Hal Ambler and wife Andrea; nephew Paul Ambler and her niece Karen Self. Her husband E.A. Sanders precedes her in death. Mass will be said at St. Catherine's Church, 6200 S.
