The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, January 6, 2003 Fermin S. Escobedo, 79, passed away December 24, 2002 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Mena, Texas on June 6, 1923. He and his wife Rosenda of 60 years, moved to Arizona 54 years ago and have been residents since. Survived by his wife, daughter, Yolanda Flores; sons Juan, Thomas, Albert, Florentino, Robert (Chich) Escobedo, thirty-four grandchildren, sixty-five greatgGrandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; four brothers, Nato & Rosario, San Antonio, Texas, Raymond & Tony from Az.; and three sisters, Juana, San Antonio, Texas, Rosa Rueda, Houston, Texas and Tomasa from Az. His wife and family feel truly blessed and thankful for a loving and dedicated husband and father, that they had all these years. He will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at "El Aposento Alto", 8217 W. Country Gables, Peoria, Az. |
