Jack A. Hutter of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away January 4th, 2003. He was born March 18, 1925 in Buffalo, N.Y.

A graduate of Cornell University with a Master's Degree from Yale, he served as an officer in the Marine Corps during the World War II and the Korean War.

As a transportation design engineer, he was director of the Traffic Institute at Northwestern University. He moved to Phoenix in 1986 where his company, J.E. Leisch, designed portions of our current Arizona freeways.

He is survived by his wife Jane; daughter, Lucinda; son, Paul and two grandsons.

Memorial services will be held at Shepherd of the Hills Congregational Church, 5524 Lafayette, Blvd, Phoenix, Az., 85018 at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9th.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, Az., 85014 or Shepherd of the Hills Congregational Church.
