The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, January 6, 2003 Robert M. McGilvary, passed away on January 3, 2003 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on December 11, 1940 in Mason City, Washington. He graduated from, Franklin High School Class of 1956 in Portland, Or. Robert was a computer programmer for 13 years in Scottsdale, Az. for Motorola. Moved in 1996 to Wichita, Ks. where he worked for O'Reilly's until 1998 where he then went to Learjet until 2001. He was preceded in death by his loving first wife Judy Paino McGilvary of 28 years, mother, Frances McGilvary, father, Alex McGilvary. Robert is survived by wife Donna Haro McGilvary of Wichita, Ks., orginally of Superior, Az.; daughter Margaret Wooldridge and son-in-law Michael Wooldridge of Park City, Ks.; daughter Kimberly Yoakum and son-in-law Lawrence B. Yoakum III of Carrollton, Texas; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Alexander, Emily and Sarah Wooldridge of Park City, Ks., Jacob, Zachary, Luke and Tiffany Cannon of Tacoma, Wash.; many brothers and sisters-in-la and nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The American Cancer Society. Services will be held in Portland, Oregon. |
