The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, January 6, 2003 James L. Nowabbi, Jr, 87, passed away January 3, 2003. He is survived by two sisters, Justine G. Starr of Phoenix and Lurline L. Hamburg of McAlester, Ok.; his brother, Bill Anderson of Oktaha, Ok. and nephew, Kenneth Pablo of Gila River, Az. There are several other nieces and nephews residing in Az. and Ok. He was a longtime member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Phoenix. He retired from both the U.S. Dept. of Energy and the Salt River Project. He served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant from 1943 to 1946. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003 from 5 to 8 p.m. at A. L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Burial will be in Oklahoma. |
