Joe C. Rodriguez, 72, Phoenix, Az., born October 21, 1930 went to heaven leaving those that will miss, love and need him on Jan 3, 2003.

He left behind his beloved wife Adeline, of 40 years, his loving children, Patricia Morey, Rebecca and Pete Rodriguez and their spouses from Phoenix, two step-children from California, Carolynne Chavez and Deborah Ibanez, thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two sisters from California, Cecilia Moet and Lupe Chavez as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all loved him dearly.

He lived life as he wanted and encouraged others the same. He was the rope that held us together, the anchor who kept us in our place, the supporter through all of our endeavors, the accepter of all our downfalls and a man who would always be there no matter what when needed. You were the greatest salsa maker on earth and you will spice up Heaven like never before. Til we meet with you again, you are always in our hearts.

Visitation Tues, Jan 7 from 5-8 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, Glendale.

Mass will be held on Jan 8 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Catholic Church.
