| West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 6, 2009 Alpheda Jurn, 88, of Goodyear died Dec. 29, 2008, in her home. Mrs. Jurn was born May 14, 1920, in Poram, Okla., to Cornelius and Clara Jackson. As a child she moved to Forrest Hills, Calif., where she grew up. She married Leonard Jurn and moved to Arizona in 1958. She was a licensed practical nurse. She is survived by one son, Larry; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard. Services were held Jan. 2 in Buckeye. Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements |
