| West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 6, 2009 George "Tad" Newell Morgan Jr., 75, of Goodyear died Jan. 2, 2009, in Goodyear. He was born Sept. 25, 1933, in Elgin, Ill., to George and Lorona. He graduated with a degree in law from Northwestern University, where he was also a wrestler. He served in the Army National Guard. He earned a certificate as a certified public accountant. He served as general counsel for Montgomery Wards. He was president of the Jaycees. He volunteered for the Kare Bears. He moved to Arizona eight years ago. He is survived by his wife, Celeste; one daughter Mary Morgan-Lopez; three sons, Joshua, Bob and Gabriel; and six grandchildren. Services are at 5 p.m. Thursday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. Memorials may be made to the Michael J.
