VICTIM OF CAR ACCIDENT DIES

Mrs Georgia N. Fox, 51 years old, 602 North 18th street, died yesterday morning in a Wickenburg hospital of injuries suffered when the truck in which she and her son, Perry R. Fox, were riding, overturned twice on the highway 10 miles north of here late Monday evening.

She was the 120th fatality resulting from motor vehicle accidents in Arizona since January 1.

The accident occurred, Perry Fox said, when the right wheel of the truck struck a soft shoulder after he had driven to the side of the road to avoid hitting a car passing him. The brakes stuck, he said, causing the vehicle to overturn. The car which passed him did not stop, he said.

Mrs Fox suffered internal injuries. The son was treated in the same hospital for a broken nose and head and neck cuts and bruises.

Mrs fox is survived by her father, W. L. Pruett, two daughters , Mrs Wanda Shumway and Miss Virginia Fox; and three sons, Roy Glenn and Perry, both of Phoenix, and James Lee Fox, Ogden, Utah; and a son-in-law, Aubrey Williams, Phoenix. Her husband was the late R. Glenn Fox.
