Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg AZ Friday, January 3, 1941 MRS HENDERSON IS TAKEN BY DEATH Mrs Harry Henderson, 74, prominent local district figure for nearly 40 years, succumbed Friday afternoon following a brief illness. Mrs Henderson arrived in Congress Junction in 1902 and resided for many years at the Old Fool's Gulch mine, which is now the Alvarado, six miles north of Congress. She had resided in Congress continuously since 1902. Mr Henderson is a sheep and large property holder there, his holdings, west of the railroad tracks, include a store, hotel and garage. Mrs Henderson was a member of the Hassayampa Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Wickenburg Chapel by the Rev. Ross Cleeland. In addition to her husband, Mrs Henderson leaves a daughter, Mrs Asenith Coghlan.
