HOLD FINAL RITES FOR MRS SANBORN

Funeral services for Mrs Jean Sanborn, who passed away suddenly in the Community Hospital here early last Sunday morning, were held Thursday morning at 8 o'clock in Rochester, Minn. Burial occurred in Minneapolis, which had been her home for many years.

Widely known here, where she and her husband, Howard Sanborn, and 4-year-old son Caleb Michael, had spent most of their time since building a large and beautiful home north of town and just off the Prescott Highway, Mrs Sanborn's death was a severe shock to the family and to her many friends. She was taken ill Saturday evening, removed to the hospital and passed away at 2:33 a. m. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Her charming personality, her friendliness, her generosity and her democratic manner with people in all walks of life, had endeared Mrs Sanborn to the people of this community. Her untimely passing is a loss to Wickenburg.

At the time of Mrs Sanborn's death, her husband was on a fishing trip at Gull Lake in Northern Minnesota, accompanied by Dr. Counsellor of the Mayo Clinic, He was reached by telephone sunday morning by Mr and Mrs James Gray, who occupy the gate house at the Sanborn Home here.

The remains were taken by train to Rochester Monday evening, accompanied by Mr and Mrs Gray and the young Sanborn son. Besides the husband and son, she is survived by a brother in Ohio.
