Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, June 27, 1941 CIENEGA MINE OPERATOR DIES Edward Sylvester Osborne, 78 year-old Parker resident and Northern Yuma county mine operator died Monday in Los Angeles after a long illness. He had been actively engaged in mining in the Parker area more than 40 years, and pioneered the developement of the Cienega mining district. Surviving Mr Osborne are two sons, Edward S. Osborne of Los Angeles and Harry M. Osborne of Parker, and a daughter, Clara Botzum of Parker. |
