| West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 23, 2009 Socorro O. Loera, 71, of Buckeye died Jan. 17, 2009, at his home. Mr. Loera was born May 13, 1937, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Faustino and Petra. In 1962, he moved to Arizona where he met his wife, Rosita Hernandez. He worked as a farm laborer. He is survived by his wife, Rosita; two daughters, Linda "Glo" and Rosa; two sons, Victor Parra and Carlos; two sisters, Manuela and Maria; and one grandchild. Visitation will be 7 p.m. today at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Thompson's funeral chapel.
