William Alexander Leddell

W. A. [William Alexander] Leddell, about 60 years old, widely known in mining circles in the United States and Mexico, died here Tuesday after an illness of several weeks.

Mr Leddell, born in New Jersey, came west while a youth and traveled extensively throughout this section of the country in connection with his mining interests.

A graduate of Steven's Technical School in New York, Mr Leddell had been manager of the Congress Mining Corporation for the past four years. He was the engineer for installation of many of the mills in mines throughout the west.

Survivors are his wife, Emma [Mary]; a daughter, Mrs Percy Ramsden, Jr., of Congress; and a son, William [O.], El Paso, [Texas]. Funeral services were held at 6 o'clock Thursday night at the Wickenburg Chapel. The body was taken to Phoenix and sent east.
