Ismael Jaramillo, was born in Phoenix, Arizona on April 9, 1916 and passed away on January 20, 2003 in Richmond, California at the age of 86.

He was a retired Captain for the Phoenix Fire Department with 30 years of service and was a veteran of the Navy after serving during WWII.

His beloved wife of 65 years, Lillian Barnes Jaramillo predeceased him in August of 2002.

He is survived by his daughters; Patricia Avanessian and Roni Pylman, both of California, two great grandchildren; Andrew Pylman and Steven Rosenquist.

Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on Friday, January 31, 2003, 11:00 a.m., with burial following at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Tempe Mortuary, 405 East Southern Avenue, Tempe.
