Arizona State Miner (Wickenburg) Saturday, December 5, 1925, p 1 c 1 Editor Watson Passes At his home in Phoenix, 601 N Tenth Avenue, at 11 o'clock Tuesday night, Harry Bruns Watson, manager of the Watson Publishing Company, passed into the Great Beyond. He had been confined to bed for over three weeks and the cause of death was a weak heart and pneumonia. Mr. Watson was nearly 72 years of age and the oldest Arizona newspaper publisher. He was well known in Phoenix and all over the State, having run for State Senator from Maricopa County last election. The Arizona State Miner at Wickenburg, where he published it for over six years, and the Five Points Star of Phoenix, now a little over a year old, are the two weekly newspapers that have occupied Mr Watson's time since coming to Arizona.
