Dorian N. (Doc) Holladay, 62, Lakeside, Arizona, passed away January 26, 2003.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 31st at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. Services: 10 a.m., Saturday, February 1st at the Pinetop/Lakeside Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Dorian N. "Doc" Holladay

Doc was born in Mesa and the family soon moved back to their home in Lakeside. They moved to California when he was six years old. He went through his schooling there. He then became a truck driver, which was his life-long vocation. Doc loved driving the big rigs and making the long hauls.

He married Shirley May 6, 1982 and they have enjoyed their life together. They became team drivers and drove truck all over the United States and into Canada. Doc was a member of the Wagon Wheel Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife Shirley; two sons, Chester Jackson and Don D. Holladay, both of Stockton, California; five daughters, Dorcilla Holladay of Stockton, California, Pricilla Holladay, Denise Young and Sheree Collins all of Turlock, Colorado and Claudette Myers of Las Vegas, Nevada; two step-daughters, Candi Bitchen of Las Vegas, Nevada and Coleen Maxie of Rapid City, South Dakota; three brothers, Joseph A. Holladay, III of the bay area, California, Venice Holladay of Stockton, California and Sterling Holladay of Pittsburg, California; one sister, Joan Swank of Berry Creek, California; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 31 from 6-8 at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Pinetop-Lakeside Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to The Perpetual Education Fund c/o Bishop Kevin Coons, 4935 Sherwood Dr., Lakeside, AZ 85929.
