The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 29, 2003 M. Eileen Kaye, 93, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away January 25, 2003. A Memorial gathering will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31, Wooddale Village dining room, 18616 N. 99th Ave., Sun City, Az. ~~~~~~~~~~ The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 2, 2003 M. Eileen Kaye died Jan. 25, 2003 in Glendale, AZ. Born Mar. 2, 1909 in Belmond, IA to Willis and Margaret Tooker. She graduated high school in Merrill, IA, attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, IA. She taught school in Storm Lake and Sioux City, IA for many years. She then moved to Los Angeles, CA and taught in Los Angeles schools for many years and retired to Sun City in 1973. She was married and preceded in death by Leonard Kaye and parents Margaret and Willis Tooker, brothers Harold and Claude Tooker and sister Geneva LaVon Meyer. Survived by sister Joyce Lindroth and brother in law Richard Lindroth and 6 nieces and nephews and a special friend Ira Scarbrough. She was a member of the Society for the Descendents of the Mayflower, an avid bridge player and involved in activities at Lakeview United Methodist Church. Private memorial services were held.
