| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 29, 2003 Frank Matt, 90, of Huntsville, Alabama, died Monday, January 27, 2003. He was a longtime resident of Phoenix, Arizona and retired from Phelps Dodge in Ajo, Arizona as Chief Chemist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Matt. Mr. Matt had resided in Huntsville with his daughter for the last 4 1/2 years. Survivors include daughter, Jonne Blythe Witt of Huntsville; grandson, James Blythe of Huntsville; granddaughters, Marjory Knothe of Huntsville, Dyana Bucca of Atlanta and Cheryl Weller of Huntsville and five great-grandchildren. There was a private family memorial service at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice Family Care, 2225 Drake Ave., Ste. 8, Huntsville, Ala., 35805. |
