| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 10, 1957, p. 1 Rites Monday In Washington State For Omer Belles Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Everett, Wash., for Omer R. Belles, 68 year-old Wickenburg resident. Mr. Belles died in Auburn, Wash., July 11 while on a visit there with three of his daughters. Mr. Belles was born in Boone Castle, Mo., February 6, 1889. He had lived in Everett, where he was a construction worker, for 25 years before moving to Wickenburg five years ago. He resided in Rose Acres and had mining claims in the Morristown area. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Everett. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Burniss Belles of Wickenburg; six daughters, Mrs. Lola Rose Leach, Seattle; Mrs. Lois Ruby Boone, Mrs. Estella Harrell and Mrs. Juanita Lampley, all of Auburn, Wash.; Mrs. Hazel L. Billings, Burbank, Calif.; and Mrs. Ella Mae Platts, Boise, Ida.; two sons, Leo and Harold of Seattle; and two step-sons, Leo A. Rock of Boise, Ida., and George A. Rock of Enid, Okla. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren and one great grandson. |
