Leslie Charles Rappuhn, 80, Sun Lakes, Arizona, formerly of Elm hurst, Illinois, passed away January 26, 2003. He was born in Fessenden, N.D. June 8, 1922. He served with the 7th Army in Europe during WWII. ON April 4, 1945 he received injuries that resulted in him becoming a paraplegic.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Pat); son, David (Tina); daughter, Beth (deceased); grandchildren, Michael (Randi) Rappuhn, Joshua and Sarah Rappuhn, Melissa (Dan) Schumacher; great-grand-daughter, Kali Schumacher; granddaughter Morgan Snell; sister, Elda (George) Weihemueller; brothers, Lewis (Audrey) and Ardell (Betty).

Memorial services will be held Friday, January 31, 2003 at 1 p.m., at the Sun Lakes Chapel, 9240 Sun Lakes Blvd, Sun Lakes.

Memorials may be made to the Sun Lakes United Church of Christ, 25635 Country Club Drive, Sun Lakes, Az., 85248 or the P.V.A., 3225 N. Central Ave., Suite 419, Phoenix, Az., 85012.
