| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 9, 1957, p. 1 Rites Held For Harvey Barnett Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Wickenburg Chapel by the Rev. Carl Adams for Harvey Barnett, son-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Carl Mallicoat, who died in a Sunnyslope hospital Friday during surgery. Burial followed in the in Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Barnett, 30 years old, had lived on a turkey ranch near Glendale for the past two years, but was better known throughout the state as a western singer on radio and television. He is survived by the widow, the former Carol Mallicoat, and two children, Billy and Eddie Lee. Also surviving are his father and step-mother, Mr. & Mrs. William Barnett of Ada, Okla.; two brothers, Dallas and Leon of the Navy; and four sisters, Mrs. Delores Solomon of' Odessa, Texas, Mrs. Pat Caudle of Midkiff, Texas, Mrs Lavonne Littlejohn of Chicago, and Mrs. Juanita Taylor of Glendale.
