West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona February 10, 2009 Ethel Delores Hall-Bostic, 76, of Avondale died Jan. 26, 2009, in Avondale. Mrs. Hall-Bostic was born April 22, 1932, in Leonard, Texas, to Olen and Essie Perkins. She retired from Penn Athletics after 25 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veteran's of Foreign Affairs Post 1710, Missions N. 2 Auxiliary of Morning Star Baptist Church and was part of the mass choir and district chorus. She is survived by four daughters, Claudia Osborne of Montgomery, Ala., Loretta Hall of Montgomery, Retha Hall of Charlotte, N.C., and Ruby Williams of Utica, N.Y.; five sons, Lathan Hall Jr. of Phoenix, Lonnie Hall of Chula Vista, Calif., Zafir Rasheed of Goodyear, Jonell Hall of Mesa and Lonell Hall of Phoenix; two sisters, Alma Perkins-Fennell of Fairfield, Calif., and Ina Adams of McAllen, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lathan Hall Sr. and Harry D. Bostic. Services were Feb. 3 in Avondale. The Rev. Rayfield Johnson officiated. |
