| West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona March 3, 2009 Marta Escobar, 60, of Avondale died March 1, 2009, in Goodyear. She was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Sinton, Texas. She is survived by two daughters, Renee Sanchez and Ruth Johnson; two sons, Tim Johnson and Thomas Johnson; her parents, Cecilia and Agustin Nunez; four sisters, Kathy Franklin, Norma Schultz, Olga Esquivel and Julie; two brothers, Thomas L. Johnson and Juan; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
