Albert William “Buster” “Buck” Faver, 88, of Bullhead City died Dec. 26, 2004.

Mr. Faver was born Sept. 14, 1916, in Globe. He graduated from Buckeye Union High School and attended Arizona State University.

Mr. Faver married Marilyn Harer in 1939. During World War II, he was employed by Goodyear Aircraft. He subsequently ran a local dairy, worked for the Arlington Cattle Co. and helped establish the Lake Mohave Resort, working there until 1961, when his wife, Marilyn, died.

Mr. Faver then returned to Buckeye, where he helped operate a building-moving business with Roy Dean. He later moved to Bullhead City, where he married Angie Zurcher in 1973.

Mr. Faver is survived by his wife of 31 years, Angie; three daughters, Edith Gearheart or Thoreau, N.M., Donna Zurcher of Bullhead City and Dee Kennedy of Menafee, Calif.; three sons, Arthur Faver of Buckeye, Norman Faver of Farmington, N.M., and Ed Zurcher of Lake Havasu; one sister, Flora Faver Davis of Buckeye; one brother, Lee Faver of Buckeye; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 31 at the Riviera Baptist Church of Bullhead City.
