West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona December 29, 2006 Frances Endahl Everett, 91, of Litchfield Park died Dec. 20, 2006, in Colorado Springs, Co. Mrs. Everett was born Oct. 26, 1915, in Coleraine, Minn. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a nursing degree, she worked in public health in Minneapolis. She married Dr. Paul Allen, a dentist, in 1946 and moved to Crosby, Minn. Mrs. Everett was active in the local women's club, PTA, Girl Scouts, garden club and Methodist church. She served three terms on the city council, and started the Cuyuna Range Historical Society and Museum. She also broadcasted local news for 15 years on Brainerd, Minn., radio stations. After the death in 1976 of her husband, Paul, she married Jack V. Everett. The couple moved to Duluth, Minn., where she worked in his geology consulting business, which took the couple to several countries around the world. Mrs. Everett was a member of the Duluth Women's Club, Doll Club and the North Shore Baptist Church. In 1997, the couple resettled in Litchfield Park and Colorado. Mrs. Everett is survived by her husband, Jack; one daughter, Judy Mages of Minnetonka, Minn.; one son, Robert Allen of Hesperia, Calif.; four stepsons, William Everett of Angora, Minn., Bruce Everett of Pine City, Minn., Karl Everett of Stephens City, Va., and James Everett of Wyoming, Minn.; one brother, John Endahl Sr. of Pampano Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 4, 2007, at the Church at Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice |
