| West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona December 29, 2006 Opal Hollis Trammell, 85, of Goodyear died Dec. 22, 2006. Mrs. Trammell was born April 4, 1921, in Heber Springs, Ark., to Annie and Robert Webb. In September 1940, she married Lawrence Trammell, and the couple moved to Gary, Ind. They moved in 1942 to California, where they both worked at a shipyard helping to build Liberty ships. After World War II ended, Mr. Trammell went to work for Chevron Oil and the couple moved to Richmond, Calif. Mrs. Trammell moved in 1991 to Arizona to live with her daughter. Mrs. Trammell is survived by one daughter, Linda Mansfield of Goodyear; two sons, Jerry of Winslow and Bill of LaCrosse, Wis.; one sister, Carolyn Ponder of Rogers, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Richmond, Calif. Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements |
