Frank Bracken Rites Saturday

Funeral services for Frank P. Bracken will be conducted by James Dickey in the Wickenburg Chapel at 2 p. m. tomorrow (Saturday) with burial following in the Wickenburg Cemetery.

Mr. Bracken, a pioneer mining and construction man of this, area, died in a Phoenix hospital January 15. He had been a resident of Aguila for the past seven years.

Born in Livermore County, Ky., March 6, 1879, Mr. Bracken came to Arizona in 1907. In 1919 he drove a team from Peoria to the Buckhorn Mountains to do some placer mining and resided in Wickenburg from then until his move to Aguila.

While he was successful in mining, he will be remembered in Wickenburg as the contractor who built such local buildings as the Saguaro Theatre, Johnson's Department Store, The Centre, the building now occupied by C. W. Paige Real Estate and many other places of business and homes.

Mrs. Bracken died in 1932.

Surviving are two sons, Robert J. Bracken of Aguila, and John F. Bracken who is in the Air Force and stationed in French Morocco, and five grandchildren. Son John flew here upon receipt of word of his father's death and arrived Tuesday.
