| Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, June 20, 1952 SON OF W. W. WALLACE DIES IN PORTLAND, ORE. W. W. Wallace, Sr., who lives just east of town on the Phoenix Highway, has received word of the death of his son, William Walter Wallace, Jr., in Portland, Ore., two weeks ago. Death followed a major operation in a Portland hospital. Burial was in that city. The younger Wallace, who was born in Las Vegas, N. M., 52 years ago, was a construction engineer with the federal government. He had just completed a project in Alaska and was enroute here, with his family, to make his home. Surviving, in addition to the father, are the widow, three daughters and one son. The children live in California. |
