Funeral Tuesday For Jack Martz

Funeral services for Jack Martz, proprietor of Jack's TV Shop on Frontier Street, were conducted by the Rev. James Dickey at Wickenburg Chapel Tuesday afternoon.

Burial followed in the' Wickenburg Cemetery.

Mr. Martz died in Community Hospital January 24 following a stroke which he suffered at his home in the Arrowhead Trailer Court during the night of January 20.

Born in Olympia, Wash., in 910, Mr. Martz was in the water well drilling business until he came to Wickenburg December 22, 1953. He was associated with Ted Mitchell in the latter's radio and TV repair shop until March 1, 1957, when he opened his own shop next door to the Valley National Bank.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs Genevieve Martz, whom he married in Olympia in 1947; and his father, Fred Martz of Olympia, who came here when the son's condition became serious. Also here for the services was Mrs. Minta King of Bellingham, Wash.: sister of the widow.

Pallbearers were G1ade Foote, Harry Bevington, George Street, Don Garvin, Barney Berrick and Troy Sheets.
